Salsa Senorita’s Spicy Pimento Cheese
10 ounces cream cheese, softened.
1/2 cup mayonnaise.
1 tablespoon garlic powder.
1 tablespoon onion powder.
1 teaspoon celery seed.
1 cup poblano peppers – roasted and chopped
¼ cup Salsa Senorita
6 ounces piquillo pepper, chopped (regular pimentos can be substituted)
5 cups shredded Cheddar (approximately 1 1/4 pounds)
¼ cup chopped jalapenos – optional
Place all ingredients in a food processor and blend.
Serve with flour tortillas, bread squares or crackers.
Another Option: Pimento cheese quesadillas.
